JJA REC provides a variety of investment management services to its clients, depending on their needs. These can range from acquisitions and asset management services to acting in a fractional CIO capacity. Our deep expertise across a variety of asset types (i.e. both traditional and alternative), business strategies, and risk-reward profiles, gives us a unique edge in identifying and diligencing even the most complex of transactions.
DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT
JJA REC has a successful development management track record in markets across the United States, with a specific focus on complex urban infill and mixed-use projects. As a team, we have overseen the execution of +$650M in ground-up deals, taking deals through the lifecycle from due diligence and pre-development through lease-up and stabilization.
STRATEGIC INVESTMENT / ORGANIZATIONAL INSIGHTS
The company possesses a deep expertise in advising clients on capital raising, deal structuring, and creative investment strategies. We specialize in working with emergent sponsors and investors, running the gamut from constructing innovative data-driven investment theses, to shaping their organizational business plans and operating methodologies.
LEADERSHIP
Jonathan Andrews, Founder and Principal, is an institutionally-trained real estate investment and development professional. In his career, he has participated in +1.3 million square feet of real estate transactions across product types, totaling +$850 million in asset value. Educated at Harvard University, Jonathan brings to the table an expertise in both mission-driven real estate investing as well as alternative and emergent asset types, and has expertise in scaling both real estate businesses and organizations. He is based in New York City.
